What is our government thinking?

Read the news today, oh boy, about two countries who refuse to recognize and learn the lessons of history. The US and the UK must get out of Afghanistan now. The lesson and understanding for future generations is before we commit our young and our nation's soul to a third parties war, we must answer the following questions with a yes: Is the war winable? Is the final goal justified? Can a lasting victory be attained? Is the cost of victory worth the fight and the deaths? Can we make sure the victory is not overturned when we leave? Any "no" answers to the questions above means we should not be in this war. Perpetuating hate and fear for who? We must teach with reason, not bully the world to live our way. Respect, and others will follow.

To our leaders, to end terrorist activities, go to war with those who finance the activities instead of those who think of the activities. Those who think, can be taught, those who smile at your face but finance hate and death behind your backs can not. Truth. Naked truth.

OPEN YOUR MINDS UP

America, a two party government that has effectively silenced and drowned out the screams of our people for a minimum justice and sharing for all of its citizens. They perpetuate the existence of corporate greed and bankers, They send 68,000 soldiers to Afghanistan for the arm and oil industries and they can not bankroll a minimum health for all? Frustrated? We need action not words!
